The Style Coaching Institute® trains men and women to become professional Style Coaches™, and because of unique nature of our training, it is the only institute of its kind in the world. Since it was founded in 2005, the Style Coaching Institute® has trained over 900 people, throughout 54 different countries.

The Style Coaching Institute® owns a large number of internationally registered trademarks. When a student graduates from the institute he or she is granted a license to use the official Graduates’ Mark of the institute, proving that she or he is Licensed Style Coach™ and a Certified Graduate of the Style Coaching Institute®.

The Style Coaching Institute® has its headquarters in the United Kingdom but we host tutored courses in London, the USA, Ireland and Singapore.

Generally, the Style Coaching Institute® offers two forms of study in most regions: Tutored Plus and Home Study. Our Home Study course is available as either a basic ‘Classic’ package or an ‘Elite-Pro’ package. You can compare what is included in each course package by viewing our ‘Quick Compare’ page. Our Tutored Plus course is 'Elite-Pro' as standard (there is no 'Classic' option available for tutored courses).

It is largely a matter of personal preference when it comes to choosing between Home Study Course and our Tutored Course, as the standard of training is the exact same, the course contents are the exact same, and the qualification is also the exact same upon completion of the course.

Our Classic Home Study package is very popular for students who want to gain all the essentials skills they need to become Certified Style Coaches™, but who might also like to keep costs down. It is ideal for students who want to do the course for their own personal benefit, and not necessarily as a career (although all graduates will receive the same Diploma Certificate).

Our Elite-Pro packages include everything that is in the equivalent Classic package, and they also include a range of great features that are specifically aimed at students who want to become professional Style Coaches™.

The Elite-Pro packages are ideal for students who want to get that professional ‘edge’ that will set them apart from the competition. Our Elite-Pro packages represent the absolute best that the Style Coaching Institute® has to offer!

Our Tutored Plus course is usually available in the USA, Singapore, the UK and Ireland. The Tutored Plus course features three key stages of study: the foundation stage is studied from home over a 3-week period, the second stage features 6 consecutive days of tutored sessions (accommodation and daytime meals are included), and the concluding stage is again studied from home over a 6 week period. Our Home Study Course is available worldwide and we currently have students from 53 countries, more than any other training institute.

The Home Study Course requires approximately 220 hours of study, and every student is assigned their very own Personal Tutor who personally guides them through the course and provides feedback to their assignments.

On the satisfactory completion of the Diploma Course, students are awarded the Style Coaching Institute’s ‘Diploma Certificate in Professional Style Coaching™’, and are issued with a Trademark License Agreement to use the exclusive Graduate’s Mark of the Institute. This is the same for students who receive the Classic or the Elite-Pro packages.

The certification offered at the end of the course enables our graduates to apply for membership of the IASC (International Association of Style Coaches™). This enables graduates to use the sub-nominals “MIASC”, in addition to numerous significant benefits. You can read all about the IASC at:
